Microponderings 6.- endlessness

The stars watched blindly
In fashioned constellations
Doing naught but shine

Moon limps into sight
Tired from clambering out of
Another haiku

The sun-zipped sky tore
Unloading the universe
In my back garden

Jealous of heaven
The blue sea bled the sky grey
Then mirrored it back

Take away the seas
Leave us landlocked
Two harbours

Eight
Infinite and endless
Humanity beats as one

The morning chorus
The afternoon symphony
The night requiem

  1. Love this, Brian. I really like:
    “Jealous of heaven
The blue sea bled the sky grey” and
    “The morning chorus
    The afternoon symphony
    The night requiem”
    And all the haiku.
    Great.
